21st May – Opening FAKI // Closing QUEER ZAGREB Festival
The FAKI Festival team welcomes you to the 26th International Festival for Alternative Theatrical Expression!
This edition features international and local artists, activists and researchers to mix safely among a week-long free program of events in AKC Medika, Zagrebački plesni centar, Museum of Broken Relationships and under the circus tent of Cirkobalkana in Pogon Jedinstvo’ Yard.
From 21st – 28th of May, a mix of performances, workshops, concerts, screenings, open-mic and conference never seen in Zagreb – all free-of-charge*, all-inclusive and politically-defined, playing the lead of taboo-breaker to provoke our imagination, expand our consciousness and hearts!
On Sunday, 21st of May, together, QUEER ZAGREB and FAKI celebrate the opening and closing of their Festivals in AKC Medika. The day blends workshops, performances, Queer Poetry Slam Open Mic and a PARTY* in Klub Attack with DJ’ Vitamin Disco.
*5€ entrance fee for the party on 21st of May
