“Dajte djeci mikrofona” is one of the collaborative projects ran by the “Idi pa vidi” collective with the OK and AKC associations. As the name inclines, the aim of the project is to provide young authors with a space, audience, performance stage, sound, and, of course, a microphone (or three). Irrelevant of their previous experience, the authors get a chance to perform in front of a live audience and a chance to further develop. The participants decide on their own if they want to perform pre-existing lyrics, freestyle or combine all of the above. Everything and everyone is welcome! The project program brings additional, experienced Croatian rap guests to the events, in order to propagate knowledge and experience exchange. The sessions are realized in a monthly tempo, during summertime.
