The Chain Of Music (Venues) Pluralism

The Chain of Music (Venues) Pluralism is a joint initiative between the Autonomous Cultural Centre (Croatia) and Crna Kuća 13 (Serbia). The project aims to strengthen the self-sustainability of small music venues by improving organizational capacities and fostering international cooperation.
Known for their work based on DIY principles, the organizations manage club Attack and club Crna Kuća CK13, addressing the challenges faced by independent music venues across Southeast Europe and the Western Balkans. These challenges include financial sustainability, competition with mainstream venues, and limited educational opportunities for staff.
To tackle these issues, the project offers educational programs, artist residencies, live performances, and networking opportunities. Additionally, it emphasizes gender equality, inclusion, and the empowerment of women in music, as well as the involvement of migrant artists.
