BUKKHA
Originally from Lafayette, Louisiana, Bukkha is one of the standout names in the dub and soundsystem scene. As a producer and DJ, he has been active for more than 15 years, with a distinct sound that blends dub, roots, dubstep, steppers and bass music.
Throughout his career, he has released music on respected labels which include Moonshine Recordings, Dub-Stuy, Innamind, Five Alley and Lion Charge, with collaborations and remixes for artists such as Radikal Guru, Killa P, Junior Dread and Roommate.
His music has received support from major names on the scene, including Mala, J, N-Type, OBF, King Shiloh and Channel One Sound System. He is known for his energetic sets and powerful sound.
In recent years, he launched his own labels, BUKKHA and Unfold, exploring new directions in dub - from roots and steppers to more experimental dub techno and drum & bass sounds.
Bukkha arrives with serious soundsystem experience and a selection that should not be missed!
Per usual, Roadtripper Crew will fill out the rest of the night with their selection of questionable tunes. Along with bringing one of our favorite artists, we will use this occasion to showcase our brand new mid-top boxes which were put together this summer.
