GALERIJA SIVA – OPEN CALL FOR EXHIBITION AND RESIDENCY PROJECTS FOR 2027.
Galerija Siva invites artists to submit exhibition and residency proposals for the 2027. program cycle. We are seeking works that emerge within the context of contemporary, experimental, and interdisciplinary art, as well as practices rooted in street art, illustration, design, comics, and other unconventional forms of expression.
We place a special emphasis on projects that explore alternative artistic formats, question the relationship between space, audience, and media, and open up critical reflections on contemporary society. The call is open to both trained and self-taught artists, collectives, curators, and residents.
Who can apply?
Artists of all generations and educational backgrounds
Authors working in the fields of:
➤ installation, video, performance, sound, site-specific and new media art
➤ graffiti, street art, illustration, design, comics
➤ experimental and socially engaged art

Who are we and what do we do?
Gallery Siva is an independent contemporary art space run by the Autonomous Cultural Centre Attack, located within the former Medika pharmaceutical factory in Zagreb. Once occupied as a squat, the building has since been transformed into a vibrant community-led cultural centre hosting a wide range of independent artistic, social, and educational programmes.

The gallery's programme is rooted in DIY (Do-It-Yourself) principles, artistic autonomy, and freedom of expression. While Gallery Siva has strong historical ties to the street art and graffiti scene, it has evolved into an open platform for contemporary and experimental artistic practices across disciplines. The gallery supports emerging and established artists whose work challenges conventions, encourages critical reflection, and explores formats often overlooked by mainstream cultural institutions.
Gallery Siva is committed to providing space for artistic experimentation, dialogue, and collaboration, fostering projects that engage with contemporary social, political, and cultural issues.
