AKC’s programs aimed to support refugees are of informal educational nature, realized via practical creative workshops helpful in fulfilling attendees’ quality time, as well as providing support towards refugees’ independency after gaining formal asylum. The workshops are realized in a partnership with the Are You Syrious Association, at asylum seekers’ shelters, and on AKC venue location (outside the shelters), which furthers integration and suppresses ghettoisation of these vulnerable groups.
