“Drugi krug — bikecraft” is an initiative for better and simpler city cycling. “Drugi krug” considers bicycles as a relevant agent of a positive social change.
Due to the ever-present need for sustainability and ecological awareness, the vision of “Drugi krug” is to solidarize with Zagreb cyclists and bring bikes closer to the ones in need of it for the purpose of their everyday city commuting (and beyond).
The project’s aim is to empower the citizens via education on basic bicycle maintenance and repairing smaller malfunctions. This kind of support ultimately can help positively affect traffic jams reduction and can consequently embetter the quality of urban life.
As part of AKC’s bikecraft program, the initiative offers free educational bicycle maintenance workshops, realized during spring months (March to May).
